Our signs are extremely durable and developed for outdoor use but ALL color signs will eventually fade in the sun. We use UV protected inks for a longer life than most outdoor color products.

The estimated life span of the color image will depend on several factors including your local climate.

We have these signs in UV testing on a continued basis. You can expect 35 years indoors without any noticeable fading. Outdoors, since this is a dye process, expect about 18 months in a hostile environment (facing the west sun). In extreme conditions you could see some color fading within 12 months. In the shade, you will get at least 3-5 year before you notice any color change.

You will notice early fading on signs that use heavy ink coverage and a lot of black.

Our reinforced fiberglass will not chip or crack when exposed to the elements and is guaranteed for life.
