Production Style

This product offers two production styles: sublimation and laser engraving. Learn more about the differences in our production style guide.

Sublimated

Sublimation is the standard option for aluminum metal. In this process, heat presses ink into the metal surface. With sublimation, we are unable to print in white. The white color will be replaced with the color of the metal. If you wish to keep the white in your artwork, select white aluminum. Products that are sublimated are only intended for indoor use. The ink will fade in direct sunlight.

Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is the standard option for laser engraved aluminum. In this process, the laser strikes the surface of the metal and removes the top color to reveal a secondary color underneath.

Placing an Order

After you place your order, we’ll email your proof to the address you provided at checkout by the next business day. The email will include a link to view your design, request changes, or approve your proof. If you request changes, we’ll email a revised proof by the next business day.
