Jennifer Streit loves animals. She and her partner adopt dogs that need a loving home in their older years, and care for them until each is ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge. While looking for a unique way to memorialize their beloved pets, they discover the pet memorials on PlaqueMaker.com.

“My partner bought one as a memorial to our dog, Jake. Since then, we have lost many dogs and each has their ‘brick,’” Jennifer tells us. “We have nine.”

Animal Lover – Animal Healer

Jennifer is an animal lover who has become an animal healer, after her dachshund Buddy had his legs paralyzed due to a ruptured disc in his back. As owner of Hands to Paws Animal Massage in Seattle, Washington, she uses her skills in massage, end of life therapy and many forms of energy treatment as well as color and gemstone healing to help animals live a healthier life. She is a Reiki Master and a Licensed Massage Practitioner with an endorsement as a Small Animal Massage Practitioner. She also has a master’s degree in counseling and has worked in community mental health since 1989. Her counseling background gives her a unique understanding of her animal clients and their guardians.
