Why is there a red line? Will it be printed on my order?
The red line indicates the limits of our printing and engraving capabilities. Please keep all text, artwork, and logos inside the red line. If your text or artwork is placed outside the red lines, it will be modified by a professional graphic designer to ensure that all of your text and artwork are optimized for production. You will receive a proof of your order within a business day. The red line will not be printed on your product.
How do I make my text larger? I want some lines larger than others, what should I do?
To make your text different sizes, you must enter each line in a separate text box. To do this, simply select add text on the left of the design program and a new text box will appear. By entering the text on different lines,you can customize each line to its own size and font.
How do I choose the font?
In the box on your right is a button that says font, selecting that button will allow you to see the fonts we offer.
I can't make my text fill the space, how do I do that?
You can select your text and images and stretch them to fill the space. If you have problems, you can add a note in the comments section before you submit your order and our trained graphic design team will do so for you.
How do I change the quantity?
You can put a note in the comment section with the additions and we will get those added for you before we send the proof, a new quote will be sent.
Can you engrave in Hebrew, Japanese, or other languages?
Yes, you can upload a PDF under upload files with text in another language, or you can email that PDF to order@plaquemaker.com and we will design the order for you.
Do you have bigger sizes than 5 x 2”?
Yes, if you have reached this page and the size is 5 x 2”, you will just need to click on “Close” at the top of this page and re-enter your order with the correct size. The default size on the order form is 5x2. Type over or erase this size and enter the size you need. When you go back to the order form, you will lose your design and any text you have entered. You may want to copy your text so you don’t need to type it out again.
