After a five-year process, VFW Post 5181M in Dove Creek, Colorado, finally receives delivery of an Army-issued, self-propelled artillery machine for display. After members decide an informative plaque is in order, Bob De Groff creates the design online.
“It was very simple. Even a caveman like me could do it,” Bob says. “The stainless steel plaque with a great graphic really fit the bill for a durable outdoor sign that can stand up to our winters.” Bob and the other members are so impressed with the final product, the quality of PlaqueMaker’s work and the speed of delivery, he orders two other plaques. The second is an informational plaque for a replica machine gun built by Larry Schultz of VFW Post 5181 that’s displayed indoors.
