A Mother’s Inspiration

Kelly Smith and her husband adopted their sons from the foster care system nine years ago, when they were just nine and six. To represent the creation of their new family, they designed a “family symbol” – four interlocking squares that come together and create a larger square. “Part of wanting to create a custom graduation present for Jonathan was to incorporate our family symbol at this important moment in his life.”
